ADELAIDE, Australia, 4 June 2024 -- Lumin Sports has today launched its strength and conditioning software, Lumin Strength.

The industry-disrupting product enables drag-and-drop programming and intelligent session alterations, empowering strength and conditioning coaches to easily and efficiently program individual athletes and teams in just a few clicks.

Lumin Strength, available as a standalone product or integrated with the company’s world-class athlete management and team operations platform, allows S&C coaches to build custom programs, allocate them to athletes and teams via the Lumin mobile app, easily make alterations, track progress, and visualise strength data and reports.

Lumin Sports Chief Executive Officer, Ben Tripodi, says creating Lumin Strength was a natural progression for the Australian sports technology company.

‘’We spoke with our clients and canvased the wider industry and what became apparent was that S&C coaches wanted an alternative programming software to what’s out there - so we built one for them.’’

‘’We set up an independent guiding committee of respected S&C coaches from the U.S and Australia and asked them not only what features they need to best support their athletes, but importantly what would make their jobs easier and allow them to spend more time on the gym floor instead of in front of a screen.’’

Lumin Sports Chief Technology Officer, Ryan Brereton, says the new software reduces manual data entry and the amount of clicks required to design a program.

‘’Having spoken to S&C coaches, we identified functionality and speed as their main pain points,’’ Brereton said.

‘’Our click-and-drag functionality, among many other features, allows coaches to easily adjust phases and blocks on a sliding calendar scale, move supersets within sessions or to different days with a single click, and build a complete session from our exercise library in a matter of seconds.’’
